12-28-98: I begin working on the first page of the site.
12-29-98: I get together some graphics for the site.
12-31-98 (New Years Eve): I finally find a server to host my site and upload the first page
2-20-99: The rest of the site partially finished; New design and advanced profile for nirvana created.
2-31-99: Main page undergoes transformation into an imagemap. new backgrounds and graphics added. imagemap never completed
1-2-99: New background added, new server on America Online. Site uploaded, then soon deleted accidentally. Rob Zombie profile created.
1-10-99: Another new background added, and site is uploaded once more on America Online under a different screen name.
2-13-99: New server on Fortune City. Redirect URL of grunged.cjb.net created.
2-15-99: Major uploading takes place. First page of the site at Fortune City uploaded. New design takes place and image map is created.
2-17-99: Bugs found, but soon fixed. Most of the rest of the site is uploaded.
2-25-99: Special Interests page created, links page created. Bugs fixed in site.
2-26-99: I added some new links to the links page.
3-4-99: n6794 goes to Washington DC. Every page uploaded so far, but design still off. Search engine created, being spidered every Monday. Bugs fixed. New pages only made with the words "Under construction" on them.
3-7-99: New band "Bloodhound Gang" added to band profiles. Options for advanced profiles deleted until information is acquired. New genre's added, rap and undetermined. New navigation at the bottom of the site.
3-8-99: New design and graphics. Special interests page still under construction. n6794's back, or either he never went. I don't know.
3-10-99: Fixed a few bugs on the page, started working on a new image map.
3-15-99: Made a new opening page. Added a news section to the main page. Announced the upcoming frames site with over 26 areas, as well as 46 bands.
3-18-99: Added a new kick-ass logo to the front page. After looking at one that was over 30 KB it was getting kind of old, so I made the new one. Anyway, still haven't put the site into any kind of publicity program. Working too hard on improving it, first.
3-20-99: Added yet another logo to the page. New navigation bar added, but half the new pages announced still aren't up yet. Still working hard...
3-25-99: New design on the top of the front page. So far no visitors except for us. n6794's 'puter broke down but it's all OK now. Anyway, no promotional efforts are being made yet. Not until this thing is finished!
3-26-99: A simple, but annoying if you come to the page more than once, JavaScript added. New poll made, 'Who is the best guitarist who ever lived?'.
3-30-99: Started work on a new HTML tutorial. Updated some pages on the site. Not much. Still trying to figure out the right design for other pages than the front page. Seeking help from to-be-visitors.
4-1-99: Finished the navigation bar for the secondary pages. New logo uploaded yesterday. More to come.
4-5-99: Early in the morning I woke up and added a section on the main page about Kurt Cobain's death. Since it IS the 5'th anniversary of the happening, I had to do something.
4-6-99: New thumbnail pictures added to the Nirvana page, as well as a new background on it. More band pages coming soon...
4-12-99: FortuneCity banner ads start to show up on the pages, so I take them off by adding a certain tag or whatever, it looks a lot better. Also I added Creed to the bands under a new category, Alternative. Nothing else is new.
4-13-99: Worked really hard on perfecting the Nirvana section of the page. I finally get the photos page finished!
4-19-99: Freak wear page done and uploaded. More organized site (sort of). Every page is updated somehow.
4-20-99: New design added at The_Grunge_Scene.html . FortuneCity problems happen and get fixed.
