Welcome to The Grunge Scene. You are at the site info. Navigate through the site using the following menu...

The site started out as a personal AOL home page with the title "Twisted's Nirvana Page". I just worked around on that page, which hadn't much of anything on it, until I found other servers. I also noticed America Online was harder to get a page up on. I soon discovered Angelfire, a server that offered a generous 5 megs of space, and began a site there, located at http://www.angelfire.com/la/TwistedsNirvanaPages/

About this time I discovered a new website entitled The Free Site. From here, I spent hours on hours getting things for my site from links posted on their site. I discovered a lot of different things, like counters, guestbooks, and a lot of other stuff. Later, the Angelfire site was merely a place to put my forms and mailing lists. That wasn't the last of my Angelfire pages, though.

I had tried before to get on GeoCities, but never got through to them. I discovered Tripod through a website on progs and heavy metal. I started up a site here that lived with me through months of updating and learning. At Tripod, I went through 2 different names, soon to be forgotten forever. Twisted's Nirvana WeB Archive was the first, and later on became ~RaVeNz ReaLm~. Here I had frames, but a choice of none. I set up a collection of sound clips which would become a passion for me throughout my life as a webmaster. Yes, soon I changed servers again, to set up the most popular of the websites of mine, a TwiStEd uNiVeRsE. I set up an account on XOOM, a provider which offered a very good 15 megs of space. I was beginning to learn a bit of HTML, the coding or language used in creating webpages, and was making better sites. I designed my own site, other than having some easy page builder from my server do it for me.

A drastic change took place in the site, and I lost it all. After uploading over 30 sound clips, the XOOM server goes down for a month at least. I was devastated. All my hard work had gone out and people could not visit my site. I spent this whole time wondering what to do. Next thing I know, I'm kicked off of my ISP and set up another account on another local provider called Bayou Internet. After making a down payment on 2 months of Bayou, 2 days afterward, it cuts up and destroys my hard drive.

Everything was wiped out and I have had problems with my computer ever since. When I finally got set back up, I rejoined America Online. Less than 2 weeks after that my modem is struck by lightning and fried. I can't connect to any provider at all! Then I borrow another from my uncle (Andy), which is significantly slower than mine beforehand (this one is 14,400 bps). I can't update my page for months! My e-mail is gone, and so is my connection.

Before all this chaos with the modem, I had set up a provider that would make anyone interested, a free webpage with custom design and information. This was set up on Angelfire, and entitled Devz Universe. When I finally got to read my mail again, I had been overloaded with requests from this page. Since I had been kicked off of America Online at the time, I set up an account on Hotmail. The e-mail address was (and is) [email protected] .

Well, after this disaster, I discovered Free Servers, a provider offering tons of space and a domain name for free! I set up another server for a TwiStEd uNiVeRsE here at http://twuni.8m.com . This is, next to this site, the most updated site I have. A friend from America Online, w/the screen name at the time N8485, had come back to AOL, but on AOL Instant Messenger, talking about Nirvana. I said I needed some graphics for my site, and he said he would do it. Since then, I've been blessed with free logos and graphics. The logo and imagemaps on this site are some of his work, but with the help significantly from graphics programs and clip-art.

Well, soon after the TWISTED UNIVERSE site opened up, I lost my America Online account again, for the 5'th time. I'm still off of America Online as my own account, but my parents have seperate accounts which I get on whenever, so it's all the same. I lost my password on a TwiStEd uNiVeRsE, so I came up with this server and name. I designed the whole front page in less than ten minutes, but it is still changing. Scanner at hand, I scanned 3 pictures of myself, some of bands, and some hand-drawn logos for this site.

Then all of a sudden I came up with the idea for this site. Everything since then is listed on the timeline page.
